About The Sportscar Database
The Sportscar Database was created as an ode to sportscar and endurance racing.
As one of the oldest and most diverse disciplines of motorsport, it has a rich history of competition, triumph, and tragedy. This site is meant to share that history, telling the stories of the greatest cars, drivers, teams and events in sportscar history.
Whether it's the goings on in the sportscar paddocks of today that takes your interest, or the racing legends who once clattered down the Mulsanne Straight protected only by fiberglass and prayer, The Sportscar Database has got something for every fan. You can expect in-depth features, interviews, analysis, opinion and much, much more.
About The Founder
Finlay Ringer
Finlay Ringer is a freelance motorsports journalist and motoring writer with a penchant for just about anything with four wheels. Since watching Pixar's Cars at a very young age he was doomed to work in racing (some say his first words were "box, box", but that's been disputed).
He'll talk your ear off about any form of motorsport - as he has online and in print for the past five years - but has developed a particular appreciation for sportscar and endurance racing.
He's currently working as a reporter for Sportscar365, and as founder and editor of The Sportscar Database. He's also a second year journalism student at City St George's, University of London.

Photography
I have a passion for photography and photojournalism, and frequently take photographs at race events and car meets.
I received professional photography tutoring as part of a module in university, and have since taken up photography as a hobby. I hope to expand my skills and use them in my role as a motorsports journalist.

Audio Work
I have an interest in audio journalism and hope to expand my presence in the world of radio and podcasting. Over the course of my studies, I have produced a number of radio news packages.
I also acted as input editor and presenter on a university radio show during a series of mock radio newsdays.
